Here are some poems I wrote for one of my friends ...
A Poem for a Friend, Jesus in you . . .
I saw Jesus in you that day ... your heart, showed His heart, your words, His kindness your eyes, His compassion...
It was His love in you that changed me...
His life in your life, His heart in your heart...
His words in yours ... a picture of His grace
A hopeful heart ...
in knowing Jesus I knew in you ...
His love you once knew in part here on earth ...
you now know in full,
because you are in Him forever ...
And now you are the eagle He made you to be, to soar in Him in His love ...
and He has restored all things, all the years the locust had eaten - immeasurably - in His presence
where the light of His love shines upon you ...
And you can look into Jesus' eyes.
Although I miss you here on earth, my friend ...
I know I'll see you again ...
Someday, In the glory of His presence ...
And I will look into Jesus' eyes too. : )
" More than words" ...
More than words spoken, or written on a page ...
A life lived, an expression of His love ...
That the world would some how see, an expression of His heart when they look at you and me.
God spoke and the earth, the sky, the stars, the sea ... the planets ... this universe ... And all that is, came to be.
His Spirit hovered over all He had made, and He spoke and gave it form ...
He spoke life, and there was life ...
He spoke light, and there was light...
He spoke and flowers grew ...
He spoke and hearts were formed ... to know Him ...
And He spoke His love and He spoke His heart ...
And Jesus came for us all to see ... His love expressed in reality.
More than words ...
to touch the hearts He created, in His image. in depth ... in truth ... in reality...
Grace ... a word He never had to speak, but lived minute by minute of His life for us all to see ... to know ... to live ... as He lived.
And to touch His heart ...
